About Best Buddies International

IOG Bike Fit & Consulting has been working with Best Buddies International for well over 5 years, serving as the onsite Bike Fitter for their top-class Breakaway Camps and Challenges in Aspen, Colorado and Malibu, California.

Attendees at the Best Buddies Breakaway Camp are treated to an epic multiple-day cycling experience. Each day is a full curriculum with pro tips on climbing, descending, nutrition, group riding skills, and recovery. Learn more about the Breakaway Camps HERE.

The Breakaway camps are supported by Pinarello, IOG Bike Fit and Consulting, the Alternate Route, and a full staff of licensed coaches, Tour de France mechanics, professional chefs, and massage therapists all with the common goal to raise awareness of BBI’s mission.

Mission

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Best Buddies is the largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people worldwide with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower people with IDD to form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure jobs, improve communication and advocacy skills, and live independently, while also offering support for their families.
